The Brief
As you were informed last time, this session you are tasked with creating a photomontage from scratch. The image above is what you are aiming at. [The files you need can be downloaded here or from the link to the right.]
The dimensions of the final image are 303mm x 303mm including bleed. The resolution is 150ppi.
Only one of the images requires correction and selection. The other two are ready to use including a pre-built selection for the Arm image.
Please make an assignment folder [ YourName Quick Assignment ] for your work before you start, and organise your files as you go in a sensible folder hierarchy as you have been taught.
You might consider making the combined arm and banana element on an intermediary canvas, then bring the result to the final canvas for completion.
When you have finished your work, please produce a flattened print version with sharpening. Do not print the image.
Finally, zip your folder and put it in the James Gosling folder when you are completely finished.
You are welcome to use your notebooks to help you with the production of the montage.
